I live in a high humidity area in South Carolina and hair styling without frizz is a real challenge! This product works very well to address that issue, at least through day 1, which is all I can hope for! Will buy agaiin!

I have naturally curly, frizzy hair so I thought I would try this product. It’s amazing and I’m looking forward to using it again! With Covid shutdowns for hair salons, I haven’t been able to get a Brazilian Blowout and my hair has become quite full and frizzy. My hair is tame and smooth again.

This primer really works! It makes my hair so soft and shiny and gets rid of the frizz so well. It also makes it easier to comb through your wet hair after towel drying. It’s a win-win for me!

I have tried SO MANY shampoos and conditioners, and these are by far, the best I have used in years. My one issue is that the shampoo is very watered-down, so I almost always have to shampoo twice, which is something I’ve never had to do.

Tried all the frizz ease, wow, and anything that promised to tame my summer frizzy hair. It’s not even that frizzy but nothing made much of a difference.
I can’t say enough about your new product. Literally a pea size calmed my hair and lasted til my next shampoo. 👍😊

My hair is very damaged from bleaching and using hair tools, so it needs tuff products.
Note, I use this for straightening my hair.
So if you don’t have very damaged hair, I would think it is a good product.

I am 60 plus with fine hair. I color and flat iron, which has in the past lead to the back of my head frizzing into a tumbleweed at the ends until my quarterly haircut. Not a happy look! I have tried so many products with less than stellar results, I imagined this product would be just another 'meh' WRONG!

I wasn’t really sure if this would make any difference to my hairs appearance. I was wrong my hair stayed looking good well beyond it usual couple of days in fact I could probably left it even longer which for someone with mid length thick wavy hair is a definite big plus as it take so long to dry and style .. Will purchase again but think this tube will last a while only use a pea sized amount but will be a future repeat purchase.

I got this product about a month ago so have used it several times. It really does get rid of the frizz on my natural curly hair which has dry areas that only frizz! The only issue (and the reason I only gave 4 stars) is the way it's packaged. The product seems to separate and I need to shake it every time or my first dollop is just watery liquid. It's hard to shake a tube, it would be better in a bottle.

It is a nice frizz control, but not what I like for me, by the end of the day makes my hair flat, but this could be because my hair is a bit thinner than some, thicker hair does better with the Velvet Primer.

I use it on the ends of damp hair as a stying product and on dry hair to help tame fly-aways.

Love how this makes my hair feel and smell.

produit avec une odeur très désagréable, genre "périmé ou passé" ! c'est étrange cette odeur. Je ne l'utilise pas car le parfum n'est pas normal. J'en ai mis 2 fois.

I noticed using the velvet primer the first time it made my hair feel softer. I had not results with helping my frizz. In fact the primer made the frizz worse. Never have I found a product to stop the frizz. Very disappointed.

This product has great reviews so I thought I’d give it a try. I have very unruly, frizzy hair but this didn’t calm it down much. I still had to use a flat iron to achieve control. My hair didn’t respond to it like others have claimed.

I've used the velvet primer a couple of times now. I don't like the substance and the smell seems off.
It's very thin and the second time I used it there was a big puddle of watery liquid coming out before a more thicker substance. I kneaded the tube and now it's a little thicker but I'm not going to use it anymore.
I loved the universal leave in conditioner but that's constantly out of stock. Hopefully you will be bringing it back soon.

Similar to the other products I bought with this order, I though this would really soften my hair and give it a nice shine but I did not see much difference, specially nothing extraordinary when compared with simple argan oil.

It made my hair feel greasy......and I used the recommended "pea size amount". Was disappointed. Most esalon products I love so this was a surprise.

Bought this product to help with frizz. Does help with minimizing frizz. The downside is that it leaves my hair limp. At first my curls look full and shiny. After a short time, my hair looks flat. Will not order this again but I certainly will be trying other eSalon product. I love almost every product I have tried so far.

I loved the scent. I do not like how it has weighed my hair down. My hair feels almost greasy and I have dry hair. I actually used even less the 3rd time I tried it and I still think it’s too much for my hair. Besides I usually I love the majority of eSalon products, the Velver Prime is a exception.

Sorry I really thought this was going to be something very special as your products are very good. But I did not see anything special with it. Seems to work or not work like the others I have tried. I didn't use a lot as was directed but it just didn't do much for me. I'll continue to use it but I doubt I will re-order.

Je m'attendais à un résultat plus efficace, je l'ai acheté pour ma fille
qui a des cheveux très épais !
On avait espérer un brushing lisse, mais le résultat n'a pas été aussi merveilleux,
comme certaines personnes le disent!!!

I just got the Velvet Primer, so maybe I haven't given it enough time. I wanted to re-order Sleek Dreams Smoothing Balm, but it looks like maybe it was discontinued? I loved it. Velvet Primer just doesn't seem to do as well, for me, as Sleek Dreams. I hope I'm wrong that is was discontinued but I can't seem to find it anymore.
