I am an all gray, 40 year old that has been dying my hair for over 20 years now. So when I say I have used all the products out there and had many a salon visit under my belt, that’s the truth! . I am always a little cautious about using DIY hair colors - mostly because with my natural ash (and now grays) turn out brassy with just about EVERY color, but this really is great. The color is a natural brown with just a hint of gold, the instructions were easy to follow, and my hair itself feels super soft. I would recommend this

A very good product. They send plenty of dye and haven’t run out. It was very nice they sent two bottles in the first shipment. I would have given this 5 stars except that I wanted my hair to have a purple tinge in the sun.

I was skeptical when purchasing an online hair color, but eSalon knows how to do it! I have some stubborn grays that seem to come back quickly with store bought color. I am going on 4 weeks with eSalon and they aren't back yet!! Thank you!

I have colored my hair for so many years I can't even say how many. I have tried the store bought kits, then a beauty supply store. They were ok but never totally covered my grey and i had more grey showing in just a couple weeks. The first time I tried this I loved how it went on, it covered ALL my grey and after 4 weeks I barely saw grey at my roots. I had my color adjusted and it is perfect!!! I am recommending eSalon to anyone that I know who colors their hair. Love it!! Oh and did I mention how nice it is to have the kit (which includes everything you need) delivered to my door.

My hair is silky soft and the color is spot on! No brassy orange, either. I’m happy with my color and texture of my hair. It feels very healthy and the color is even throughout .

I was really pleased with the colour thanks. It looks really natural and my hair is in great condition after applying it. The tools to apply the dye were great too, although I'd recommend getting someone else to help so that you can make sure you've got full coverage.

I just used it last night and the products seem very high quality. The smell is so much better than what I've been using. And I do love the color. It's hard to say today how it holds up, but the coverage is great, even those pesky areas were colored, like the sideburn area, that sometimes do not take the color! Very happy! Will be using again!

My stylist is the best hands down! She understands color even over the phone! I called her with my “hot root” issue and she customized a whole new color set for me and shipped it out right away for my super important business week & I was thrilled; no more hot roots!
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the first time I used it my roots were so super dry! Boar hair is softer. Lol Maybe I did something wrong and I’m in the process of finding out but other than that I’m in love! I’ll never go back to boxed color and I’ve been using eSalon for over 3 years now!

The color was great. It was easy to apply and the instructions were clear and concise. Following them was a breeze and left me with great coverage and a nice rich shade of copper red. I usually dye my own hair at home but I've never gotten such amazing color results before. Esalon takes hair coloring to a whole new level! It's salon quality dye creates fabulous results that even I can do. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I want it just a little bit of a lighter shade... which I just chose wrong. Esalon's salon quality dye covered up my roots and matched them to the rest of my hair! I've never found a home dye kit that made all my hair one solid color. I love the results, now I just want to go lighter and try the highlighting kit as well. Thanks esalon, you made my hair vibrantly beautiful. I love it!

The color was easy to apply and not time consuming or very messy. My hair felt like sludge when I first washed it, so I washed twice. I also pulled a lot of hair out but that could be overdue shedding. I will keep an eye on that.
My hair is shiny and pretty, but I will request 2 shades or so lighter (more golden undertones) next time I do an all over kit!

First time from a "Box" I got the color I wanted!!!

My hair is glorious!!! They were generous with the amounts of developer and color so I had no problem covering all of my hair, which is almost all the way down my back about five inches past my bra band. As a matter of fact, I had leftover color!
The process was a pain but only because of how long my hair is and how pathetic the hair clips I used were. Everything else was amazing! I loved that my name was on almost everything (I'm one of those people who never finds their name on keychains at souvenir shops). I loved the stain guard and the stain remover!
The color is exactly what I wanted and I do mean exactly! Not too light, not too dark, perfect! It's shiny, soft, warm, and perfectly suited to my complexion! Also, I have sensitive skin and had not a single issue with any of the products. The only annoying part was I had to get out of the shower to cut open the shampoo and conditioner packets with scissors because I couldn't open them.
The emails were friendly and timely without being annoying. I will be a repeat customer.

I was more than pleased with my custom color set! When it arrived, I immediately opened the box and was impressed with how much was included. The instructions and products were easy to use and my color is beautiful! As a natural redhead who is now heavily gray, it is difficult to get just the right balance with out too much orange or too much purple. My color is now very close to my natural color. I'm excited to get my next color set. I love that I can make changes to my color before each subsequent box.

Very pleased with base colour and condition. Think the neutralisation is working, will reassess in a couple of weeks as the red tones seem to reappear after exposure to the sun.

Not only is the color perfect!, But the how to videos on line are very helpful. I have received so many compliments on my color. It doesn't smell so chemically, and the shampoo and conditioner that comes with it are awesome. I plan to purchase those in the future. I bought a mirror to see the back of my head which is so helpful and look forward to my delivery every four weeks! Couldn't be happier!

I have been coloring my hair for years. Started out having it done at a salon (way too expensive and not happy with it), then started using store-bought box hair color and used those for years (jumping around from color to color, never knowing what the right hair color for me was). But since I've been coloring my hair with my Custom Color Set from eSalon, I have NEVER gotten so many compliments on the color of my hair. I sound like a commercial, but it is the absolute truth. In dim lighting or bright lighting, people have complimented on the color. I would assume, not only is it a great color, but it's a great color for me and my skin tone and eye color, etc. It's Light Brown (Golden Pearl). It's so natural looking. I did use the lightening kit to highlight my hair and, at the time, was a little disappointed that the highlight wasn't brighter. I'm used to putting in these brighter blonde highlights for the summer. But in the end, to my surprise, the color of the highlight ended up being perfect. It gave me just enough brightness without it looking fake. I am so very very very pleased with eSalon! I really am. And I LOVE how I can change the delivery date (so easily). My hair does not grow that fast so it is really nice to be able to skip a delivery or push the delivery date out further. Thank you so much for what you do and how you do it. Love Love Love.
