I have been using eSalon for over a decade (and am in my senior years)! Since eSalon started doing a hair colour without ammonia, I love the product and my hair colour is always looking amazing. Also, customer service is always quick and prompt. Any enquiries are delt with in a 24h.

11/21/2025-Update For all Unbelievers today my hair was terrible so I went looking in my stuff for my hair colors and found one of my old eSalon kits I guess I never used it, so I got it out to use it today I wasn't even sure if it would work because it was Very Thick both bottles had turned thick to compare to a can of paint when opened you have to stir it up before you use it well that's what I did to my hair color bottles I got a kitchen knife out and stirred it up before mixing it together then I mixed together and found it got even thicker now so I squeezed out the first color on my hair but it was so thick so I used a hair coloring brush I had and painted it into my head of hair using my fingertips to get to the scalp well I waited my time before showing it out and it still turned out beautifully so my story is tomes are hard for us right now so if you can use it Don't throw it away, I didn't call eSalon for fear they would tell me it was to old but I was desperate my hair was terrible and today it is the perfect color updated pictures are attached, So Thank You eSalon, great job on my color.
When I first got my set I was a little skeptical wasn't sure how this was going to look on my hair but actually I ended up loving it then, we made some changes and I wasn't so happy with those changes but eSalon fixed it and made me very happy I only slowed down because of the cost I'm going to fix my budget sovwhen I get my hair colors it cuts into my budget so I have to be careful when I order but I love the product it does make my hair look so much better than normal colors I buy at the stores, I've had lots of compliments and I've been told my hair looks beautiful. Thank you eSalon for all you've done to help me on my colors.

I had been using a darker shade of brown, but the last time I ordered my colorist had me send a picture. She said I should definitely go lighter. I took her advice and love it. I even added some highlights. eSalon products are easy to use and for a little more $, you get a lot of bang for your buck that you don't get with boxed OTC brands.

I've never colored my hair before, so I had my husband do it for me. It came out amazing. If that doesn't tell you how easy this was, I don't know what will.
The color is absolutely spot on. My colorist chatted with me and decided to change the color I'd chosen based on the picture and description of what I wanted. I like to have a "natural" Irish redhead look, which is a tricky color in my opinion. I watched the instruction videos that were short, sweet, and to the point. Then we winged it. It's perfect. All I can see are the dollar signs I won't have to spend getting it done anymore! So freaking worth it!

I’m so happy that I called to speak to my colorist I explained that my color was fading and not covering my gray around my face. She made a change to my developer and sent a replacement set. Excellent grey coverage. So much healthier than a store-bought color. I look like I have been to a salon after using my custom hair color. The price is amazing. The color lasts longer than a salon color. With the directions, gloves, shampoo, conditioner, color protection for your hair line, and color-removing wipes for your skin. Due to finance changes I stopped my subscription for 12 months and had to purchase a cheaper option. However I was buying the cheaper option every couple of weeks and it was costing more than this subscription! I only have to buy this once a month and I have quite a lot of grey now. Also the dye does not stain as badly as the cheaper option which would stain my nails quite badly and be there for weeks! I love this product and I think if you want to maintain your colour its definitely worth buying!

I was nervous to try this, but I'm so glad I did. I was looking for a vibrant, but natural auburn red. I haven't had too much luck. I would find colors that were high lift and the color was too bright and unnatural, or colors that were too dark and one dimensional. This custom color is beyond perfect. The roots blend seamlessly into the midlength and the midlength blends seamlessly into the ends. The color is rich and vibrant without looking unnatural like most red box dyes. Esalon definitely earned a loyal customer 👏 👌

My most recent color mixture is flawless! Mindy mixed it, and idk what’s a smidge different- but it’s perfect!! No warmth in my roots at all, but also not jet black- which is too harsh AND my grays are hidden well. I’m super happy! Thanks Mindy!

This color holds up so good, I wasn't able to get it done in my regular 4 weeks, ended up being 6 weeks by the time I did. My color only slightly faded in that time but I was still getting compliments and because of the minimal fading my grays were not as pronounced. I recommend highly!

I have been using esalon color for around 7 years. My custom mixed color, "ash copper", is almost exactly the same color as my hair before I began going gray and looks natural!

The shade was exactly what I had asked for and I'm particularly impressed with the quality of the shampoo and conditioner which left my hair very soft and silky. The instructions were easy to follow (loved the little thoughtful touches - even a sticker is included to tape the instruction sheet up for easy at- a -glance viewing without having to handle the leaflet and get dye all over it!) You also get two pairs of good quality latex gloves 🧤. What's not to like? Looking forward to my next pack. I have requested a slightly different shade for a change so will see how the colourist interprets my request. 👍

I decided to give esalon a chance cause I wanted a Demi permanent colour and couldn’t find in the shops and I’m sick of paying €90 for an all over colour and my god am I over the moon with the order the colour is just perfect and I am definitely keeping the subscription going!

I asked for a darker and redder shade for autumn and it turned out stunningly. I just love it - Being a ginger I would not have thought to add Mahogani insted of red, but it just works

Just take the chance to try it, follow the instructions and the results are amazing. I am so pleased with my results. One year ago i dyed my hair for the first time and since then i have been to 3 different hair saloons which ended with me dissatisfied and damaged hair colors. I am very picky in general and i thought im gonna try do ot myself with the help of esalon . I am finally happy i achieved my desired hair color that the one i wanted a tear ago i finally have it now. Try them , the best .

I’ve been box dying my hair for years. It’s taking a toll on my hair in a big way. I don’t want to go back to spending tons of money at the salon, so I felt stuck. Absolutely gorgeous results even colouring over very grown out highlights and stubborn greys.
