This product is MUCH better than the drug store brands.
OLIA usually lasts me a week and the gray starts to peek through.

Gorgeous, vibrant copper-red! This is a fantastic color and I swear looks identical to my salon color. It's also very even all over, which I guess has more to do with my application of it, but the instructions on sectioning and application were extremely helpful in this regard. I got nervous halfway through that it was going to be way too red, but it really came out perfect, just perfect. Thank you!!!

I love the idea that I can have the hair color customized to me. I don't have to settle for something close I get in the drug store. If I want to change it up a little I can do that. And the color lasts. This is a great idea!

I colored my hair about 3 to 4 weeks ago and I was facetimeing with my Daughter and she stopped talking mid sentence and said i love your hair it looks so natural just like when u were younger.I get a lot of compliments like that. If you have ever rolled the dice and tried to do your hair at home you may begin the process with some anxiety. Not the case here. Everything is perfectly explained and mapped out step by step. I love my custom color. It totally covered my gray. I like that it comes with everything I need to color all in one box. My hair is soft and manageable. I have been coloring my hair at home for years. The results were pretty inconsistent and left me unhappy. I saw esalon on Facebook so I decided to give it a try. I figured what do I have to lose. I am so impressed with my color. It looks as natural as when I would go to a salon and of course the price was right. I am a forever client of esalon. I love my color. It is so rich looking and my grays are covered perfectly. The color is even without different color pigments in the gray areas. I also bought the clips which was part of the Coloring Tools and they held my hair. My hair is very long and I have trouble with clips sliding out because of the weight of my hair and esalon clips are wonderful. If you are looking for salon quality then esalon is the only way to go.

I purchased my color back in August and just got around to coloring my hair. It was a two step process that was a little daunting so that is what took me so long. I must say why did I wait? It was SO easy. I cut 5 inches off my hair before I colored it to get rid of a lot of the blond. The first bottle colored the blond remaining in my hair, the second bottle was the darker color. It took approximately 35 minutes and is the most warm color I have ever seen. The shampoo and conditioner included in my kit lasted 3 days and smells great! My hair is so soft. I will go a bit darker my next go round. Don't spend $$$ at the salon, eSalon is the way to go!!!

Color is gorgeous! All grey covered! One minor problem was the smell of Ammonia was strong. Have good ventilation. Result was worth it. Applied conditioning shine product after. Shines healthy hair! I'm sold - no expensive trips to the salon! Shazam!

I have been researching different types of product clubs to join from perfume to horror to T shirt clubs and then I just stumbled on this club I knew this was what I wanted. I color my hair 4 times a month lol yes that is a bit much but I said what the hay let's give this a whirl. Everything about this hair color has been a positive experience for me. Love having it arrive at my door just in time for my next coloring session. My hair looks and FEELS great afterwards. I've done a lot of at home coloring through the years and this was by far the best product I've come across. I wanted to transition from ombre color back to brunette and cover the grays at my roots. eSalon's color perfectly covered my ombre and my gray hair and it looks so natural! It didn't leave my hair dry like so many at home colors do. I highly recommend it!!

I absoutly love this product. A few years ago I tried it and received many compliments. I dropped my membership back then to save a few bucks. I've signed up again and once again getting many compliments, even from my hairdresser! I'm sticking with it. My hair is shiney with flat iron and looks and feels healthier!

This product was the exact color I was looking for, and covers my gray completely! Also, it is very easy to use, and ships when you want it to so you do not have to remember when it is time to color again. Love it!

Thank you so very much. I colored my hair as soon as it arrived. I was very anxious to try since coloring red hair can be hard to do with products on the shelves. I love, love the color. Will be using this product from now on. I will also being sharing with friends and family.

I was a bit nervous to begin with since the color was changed to light brown. I was expecting it to lighten my hair. But, I was pleasantly surprised with the overall color once applied. It was perfect, it looked very natural, unlike store bought hair colors. I'm so glad you tweaked the color a bit for me, I love it!
It was easy to apply and it didn't have an awful odor to it. I have definitely found a new way to color my hair from now on.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of me. I look forward to my next shipment.

I love my color. It fits the person that I am. Being a natural red head, rather than getting really grey the color fades with age. Now I am the bright red I used to be and am thrilled with this!

This has been a very amazing experience for me. I have NEVER colored my hair before. I am 42 yrs old and have naturally red curly hair. I was VERY apprehensive about it. Afraid it would come out looking dull and dried out, a monotone color, and look fake, though I was encouraged by the reviews. I really wanted to brighten my color and cover the excessive numbers of WHITE hairs plaguing my crown, and didn't want to spend $150-200, so I gave in and bought it. Everything included was truly all that was needed. I did use a small glass bowl to mix the color and the developer. I had some questions about the instructions and when I called, I spoke to a very friendly and knowledgable person. By the end of the conversation, I felt confident in proceeding. I was ECSTATIC with the outcome of the strand test so I went ahead. The result wasAMAZING!!!! It was shiny, exactly the color I had hoped for, it was multi-dimensional!! My hair was soft and healthy looking. I will say I spent the entire week before without using styling products and deep conditioning daily. Applying with the brush was a little awkward but it would have been easier had I had the plastic stylers clips that were suggested. Oh, and I want to say something about the smell as many say it's terrible.....depends on what you're comparing it to. The perms I got as a teen (when my hair was actually straight) smelled 50x worse than this stuff does. Now it doesn't smell like roses, but it is mild compared to many other salon type smells. They have a loyal customer here!!!!! My next shipment is due in the next week.
Update:
The second coloring outcome was as FABULOUS as the first!!! I received a different formulation for my ends (the color enhancing gloss), I was concerned that it wouldn't look the same. I was wrong!! It looked like a freshened version of the original coloring! Amazing consistency! Also, I'll add that while it did fade some.....it was not as much as I had expected. I am so very pleased!!!
