I am 51 with salt and pepper hair. With the increase in gray, I was going to the salon often and spending a lot of money. I had highlights but I am trying to grow them out. The color from eSalon was perfect. I called to get extra advice about using it on my highlights. I applied it to my roots for the first 25 minutes and then put it all over for the last 10 minutes. And I love it! The highlights are warmer and the color is much more flattering than what I had been doing. My last picture is a before and after.

I finally had the chance to use my color and can't believe the shine and softness of my hair. I love the color and it did a great job of covering my roots. Now I'll be curious to see how long I can go before needing to reapply and whether the color will fade or stay vibrant. Application was a little more work than the color I've been using but if it lasts it will be well worth it.

I have been coloring my hair red for over 18 years. And this is the best color I have ever used. And it doesn’t run!!! I can color my hair and then be in a white shirt in the rain the same day and The color doesn’t get on my clothes or me!! It is great!!!

The color immediately following process is natural looking, hair is super soft with no greys peeking through. It even smells lovely. I can’t remember ever getting a color that didn’t need a few days to calm down from looking right out of a bottle (either brassy or too dark). eSalon thought of everything...stain prevention products are a delight (& I used both), 2 pairs of gloves, plus a wonderful finishing shampoo & conditioner included. From start to finish the process couldn’t have been easier. I am super pleased!
Update: 1 month later...still loving the product! The color has stayed true (an exact match for the 5 yr old photo I uploaded) and not a hint of grey showing through. I did start using a non-sulfate shampoo for colored hair (not eSalons, just an inexpensive drug store brand) but the color hasn’t faded and my stubborn wirey greys are still disguised and tamed like normal hair. ESalon offers excellent quality products, tons of tutorial videos and an exceptional staff to talk you through any concern.

Have been using E-Salon for a few years now and I'm very impressed with the results...if I want to go more intense color -they can make it Your Way! Seems less stress on your hair and lasts quite awhile-I have chosen red..have had many compliments and tell everyone to use E-salon online..Great product and less stress on your locks! Will continue to use E-salon, because the chemicals are not harsh as the ones on the market.

I can't believe how easy this is - and I look forward to the "ME TIME"!! I used to have to block off a whole Saturday just to get my roots done. And I don't miss paying over a $150 (without tip) just for a root touch-up. Although I do miss my stylist who I had been going to for years and her incredible friendship - I realized by watching her I learned the skills to color my own hair. eSalon makes it soooo easy, user friendly and almost error proof - I look forward to opening my box every couple of months! And, I find my color lasts much longer. The color seems such high quality and I always receive so many compliments. It is finally the right shade of blonde - not brassy. I have never been happier with my hair - and it used to give me the biggest headaches ever! I highly recommend eSalon - I have been a happy client since 2016 :) (Working mom of four teenagers, with shoulder-length, thin, blonde hair with occasional grays. I was worried by the strong chemical smell of the "lightest blonde" color because I was afraid it would damage my hair, but it didn't (even my hair cutter said so), and the results were so nice! The color covered grey better, made my hair shinier, and was just the right shade! I honestly didn't expect the results to be any better than my usual grocery store brand, but it definitely is. And worth the price difference! And there's not my usual delay in getting around to buying hair color because it's shipped automatically. I love it!

I thought I take a chance and order this hair color instead of going to the salon and paying a $100 everytime.
So I just colored my hair last night and WOW!!!!! I love the shade the picked for me. I was wanting a ash tone and my hair color lady said that might not be the best choice. She was so right on with the color she made for me. I will be referring friends to eSalon. Thanks again for this wonderful color.

I have always had my hair colored at the salon, but our household is on a money saving kick- esalon to the rescue. My hair looks fabulous, and I did it at home. The color is great the option to use a bowl/brush or bottle to apply everything was clearly explained, and couldn't have been easier. I was spending $60 every six weeks to have those nasty gray roots covered up, but now I'm saving my money, and smiling to myself. Yay!

I am absolutely in love with the colour. I took a little bit of a chance, diverging from my usual light blonde with a medium coppery blonde. Could not have been happier. The shade perfectly matched my skin and eyes, and I got a ton of compliments! Was also pleasantly surprised with the kit. Everything I needed - can't believe how cheap this is! The only point of critique is that the shampoo and conditioner does not work well with my curly hair. It made it smooth and silky, but also very flat and lifeless. Maybe this would be an interesting next step with the personalisation of the colour kits? Not only a colour profile, but also a hair type?

I have moved away from my favourite hair salon recently - been seeing them monthly for 8 years but now I am living too far away to sustain this habit. Decided to try eSalon and do it at home - and I am impressed. I like the rich colour (deep brown with golden tones), the grey roots coverage was excellent, and the technique to refresh the ends worked perfectly. My hair is soft and bouncy and looks healthy. I was skeptical but saw lots of positive feedback so decided to try it. I am not disappointed with the product and the really insightful kit (gloves, stain guard and remover, sticker to hold up your instructions - well thought through). I ordered my next kit already and added some tint rinse (to see if I can refresh the deep tones in between colouring dates, as well as a colouring kit as my makeshift supplies (cheap plastic takeaway bowl and old clips to section hair) were not great. I will get a friend to help though as I am not great with colouring my grey roots in the back, and its just easier to get help! I am impressed, unexpectedly so, but impressed.

I have been very unhappy with drugstore hair color for quite some time and decided to try eSalon on the recommendation of my friend. Excellent gray coverage! Love that you can customize the color. If your hair is long and somewhat thick, I recommend a second two bottle application to ensure that you have thoroughly covered the middle and all the ends. Very happy!

This was the EXACT color I've always wanted but never been quite able to get! Love the stain guard and the stain remover and the fact I can choose if I want to brush on the application or use directly from the bottle. I don't have a bad thing to say about this. If you are on the fence about trying it...try it...I hope you will be as happy with the results as I am!!!!!

This was my first time coloring my hair at home so I was slightly anxious about the process, but everything was easy. I picked a slightly darker copper than my natural color but it covered my gray and the color is amazing. I have highlights and it is shiny and soft. My husband loves it. Such a easy process. I will definitely be reordering. I also recommend this to anyone who wants soft, beautifully colored hair. I am no longer anxious about coloring my hair myself. I should have tried eSalon sooner.

It took me about 30 minutes to apply, but I did follow every tutorial video I could get my hands on, because last time I was with eSalon, I royally effed it up and wasn't paying attention to the guidance... WHOOPS. Then came nearly two years of salon visits to correct it. SO! I am hopeful that I can keep this going, because 30 bucks versus 200, is really nice. Also - eSalon customer service is MAD. SO GOOD. Love, love, love.

I highly recommend Esalon. Unless you have the time and money to go to a high end hairdresser/colurist who really know their stuff ( and really good colourist can be hard to find!) then settling with eSalon is absolutely is a superb option. I had two orders from eSalon lying around and finally tried it, the result was great. Then I tried again a few weeks later out of curiousity, mixed myself the slightly darker color from the first order up with the slithly lighter color from last order and it turned out really very natural looking. The instructions are spot on. Just make sure to update your photos, so the colourist can see properly what your hair looks like. Make sure to tell them how you want it. I never ever before had so natural looking results from the boxes in the store. In fact I have had completely catastrophic results from haircolours from the store. This is sooooo much better, it’s like day and night of difference . I HIGHLY recommend E salon.

When I ordered the color, I received a message from eSalon, telling me that they were adjusting my color a bit, as they thought it was too dark. Well, their decision was the right one! Definitely love the color they made!

So easy to use and beautiful natural colour! Great delivery and prompt replying to all questions. Do not like the conditioner, made my hair really greasy ( took 6 washes to remove !) wish we had an option not to have shampoo/ conditioner as it just go’s in the bin ? Overall love my colour and the convenience of auto delivery, will definitely continue to use 😄👍

My colorist adjusted my color from my original order and I am so glad she did. That is what makes this so amazing! They will not let you get it wrong! Everyone has complemented me on my new hair color. I was scared going in because I have not colored my hair in years. I am too frugal to pay $200 for hair color at the salon and now I am glad I didn't. I would feel dumb now. This is so simple to do as well. The instructions were clear and easy to read and my color only took 30 min to process. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to color their hair.

I was very hesitant at first to begin to color my own hair, as I did so in the past and my hair always turned very dark almost black over time. This product goes on just right and the match is perfect. I am getting better at the process of doing it myself each time. I also like that my colorist gets in touch w me each time she is ready to mix color to see if I want to change anything.
