This protective cape is really good and I wish I’d got one a couple of years’ ago as it’s perfect for home hair dying. I’m unable to wash my hair dye off without standing upright in a shower and I now put this waterproof cape back on before I step in so I don’t get hair dye all over my skin. Afterwards it rinses and dries off good as new.

Having the protective cape help me keep the color mess away. Over the years, I have damaged a lot of my clothes, robes, and bathroom rugs during the coloring process because of it drippings. Because of the cape I no longer damage my coloring area.

Previously clipped a towel around my shoulders and the towel would frequently slip out of the clip right when my gloved hands were covered with red hair color. Thought I would give the cape a try. It was GREAT. Salon quality material. Plenty of coverage but does not restrict movement. Well worth it. Get this!!

I'm sure most people who regualrly colour hair, like me have "hair colour clothes" which have previous accidents on them. Although I still use old tops and t-shirts it does give skin and clothes plenty protection which means that I can happily let my daughter help to colour my hair and am not nearly as worried about drips and spills as I might otherwise be.

It's great to have the handy cape but i have stashed it away. I wear an old tee and the color doesn't hurt it because it's a black tee. So afterwards i wash my tee and towel alone on rapid wash and they come out spotless. I think the key is washing them soon as done.

I wondered if this was going to be overkill - it wasn't. How many old towels do you have laying around though? Maybe a couple. Good quality and turned out I did need it. Glad I bought it.

Good length- I’m short the the other version tends to look more like a gown & is combersome . This was just enough to protect the clothes but I was able to move & color my own hair.

Before I purchased this cape, I was using an old towel and safety pinning it around my neck. It was awkward, cumbersome and ineffective to say the least.
I couldn't believe the quality of this cape when I received it. I have been in salons that didn't use capes this nice.
After each use, I just rinse it in cool water and let it drip dry.
This is a must have.

I have purchased a few inexpensive drapes to use when I cut or color the kids hair but they have always slipped and slided making it impossible for me to use on myself. This drape is thicker than the others I have used and stays in place!

I wore the cape and didn’t worry about staining anything. I brushed color onto my long strands that hung directly over the cape. After I was done I tossed it into the washer by itself & hung it to dry for next time!

To whom it may concern, I colored Lisa's hair with your product. I have the directions memorized and out of a horrible horrible situation Lisa's Hair turned black except for Roots. I truly have no idea on how to strip the black. I was the one that started the eSalon color! And my color has turned out fine so I added Lisa to the list. Please help me figure out how to get rid of the black I was using Redken. Thank you Sarene

So glad I got this for those drips or slightly smudges. Let's face it, I'm a sloppy Artist coloring my hair BUT if all I do is follow ya'lls instructions, it turns out real nice.

Like most people, I hate to color my hair but it is a necessary evil. Hair color can be messy. It is sneaky too, as color seems to get everywhere and because it is so light (until it darkens), then it can damage clothes and towels easily. So I was looking for some way to prevent ruining all my clothes and getting dye all over me. This cape is super handy and it keeps me from running around with no clothes on while dying my hair.

Love my new cape, and excellent quality and very durable, better then some salon ones I have had during my in salon appointments. Just wish it was a little longer but other then that, I would totally recommend it for at home colouring.

I am a new to dyeing at home and really make a mess. The cape caught everything I dropped. It washes easily for next time. Highly recommend splurging the few extra dollars to purchase this along with your kit.
