Not the desired colorI ordered a pearl mahogany color after I read a review recommending this product. While the instructions were easy to follow and the product was very gentle on my scalp (I usually have issues with dyes stinging and itching), my roots, which were quite prominent with my previous hair color, are the just as dark, while the dye is not nearly as red as advertised. This was supposed to lighten my hair and it made it darker!I followed all the instructions carefully and fully. This did not lighten my hair a couple of shades as promised. Hair too dark for the dyeI really wanted this to work. But unfortunately after following all the instructions I can't even see a tint of colour peeping through. Part of the problem as well was that the colour I chose was the lightest one that was available, as the colours lighter, which my hair probably needed, were unavailable to me.
