Colour wasn’t for me but you can’t fault the productThe hair colourist ( my partner) armed with the colour supposedly did a “pass” of the job on my hair( according to my hairdresser today). The colour has lasted ... I just need to find the right colour for me. Would highly recommend this product to anyone seeking to avoid the salon and the salon price tag. I finally have the perfect colorAfter just three boxes, I got the hair color that I wanted. For some reason, every time I went to a beauty salon it was very difficult to get a good hair color for me. But with esalon, I just need to tell the colorist very little instructions. A little bit lighter, and more cooper, and that was it. I am in love with my color. New color mix perfect!My 1st order was a bit darker than i wanted cause i just said i wanted medium golden brown. After three monthsI have been using e-salon three times. I like the color, it fits exactly what I asked for. I like the packaging and ease of mixing. I find the process itself difficult when you’re doing it on yourself. Color is perfect!I absolutely love this hair color. Unlike others that are very popular (MR) my color doesn’t fade. The other popular one had horrible root fade after 2 weeks. It was bad. This color stays true till I need to cover my new growth. The only problem I’ve had was not receiving 2 pairs of of gloves. I only received 1 pair my last 2 orders. ColorIt was easy to use but the Ash color did not work for me, it turned out on the golden and a little brassy side. It still looked good just not quite what I hoped for. I like it, but...I like it, and it was easy enough to do, except that I got it on the fabric shower curtain when getting into the shower to rinse it off. Color didn't workEven though I followed the instructions, the color didn't last as far as covering my grays. The color only lasted a few days, it faded way faster than promised! My blonde to brown was awfulMy hair had a full head of very blonde highlights making me look very blonde. When I ordered my things for eSalon, they said because my hair was so light, in order to go darker I would have to use a filler before I applied the medium brown color. When I did my step one over my extremely light hair, I waited to five minutes and it was almost black! Crying, I did what the box said and used the step two color application. It was a gold tinted color. Then I realized, THEY MIXED UP MY LABELS ON MY STEP ONE AND STEP TWO. So I look like I put my shiny blonde hair in black tar that was muddy and had no shine.
