Beautiful color, terrible covering grayI absolutely love the color! However after 2 days I washed my hair for the first time with the shampoo included in the kit and the color immediately came off the gray hair. I was so disappointed! I left the color on for 30 mins as the instructions stated. No graysAloha, I was happy that the color covered my grays, but i think the color overall was too dark. I expected some kind of golden brown that would lift some color from my dark hair. The shampoo smells great lots of lather, sorry not happy with the conditoner. After blow drying, my hair felt dry, no shine. Did not workI dyed my hair before doing this from a black to a dark brown. I ordered the violet/brown. In the picture, it showed purple. When mixing the solution with the developer, it was purple. Somebody please explain how my hair turned to black! Very happyI am a stylist by trade (have since moved in to different industry) so I know colour science. I was so impressed with the personal service I got and my colour is FABULOUS. Even a week later I had people commenting on the shine. The two formulas for my roots and ends blended perfectly. I’m going to stick with this! Pandemic desperation!!!Haven’t had my color done since the beginning of February. I’ve been getting highlights for over a year, but decided I couldn’t wait anymore. I ordered esalon color in a medium brown. Did the color yesterday and it’s really beautiful. Easy and fast. I was paying hundreds for color and spending so much time in the salon.
