Next level home colorThis was my first order with esalon. I had spoken to one of their colorist prior so I was confident that it would come out correct. I am shooting for a dark copper, however my current color was more burgundy. I followed the directions that were in my new well stocked kit, however the color was still in the burgundy family. The color is still beautiful just not on the wheel of what I wanted. I'm sure it will take a couple more treatments to get where I want to be, but I will say it covered my silver roots perfectly. NAILED IT!! TWICE!!I'm a natural redhead - well I used to be before the gray started. At any rate, it's not a typical red, but more of a copper/gold and it's been nearly impossible the last few years to find a stylist to get it right (my previous stylist retired). I tried an older formula (Wella) and it didn't color the gray well. I had tried eSalon once previously during Covid I think - decided to go back and see if they could fix this mess (another stylist left me with damage and hot roots). Mindy, my colorist, sent me my customized kit and NAILED IT! Absolutely PERFECT! Thank you so much! Highly recommend. UPDATED: Needed to change my color as it seemed my hair was grabbing color a little weird, so gave Mindy new photos. More strawberry blonde this time. Good coverage but colour not at all like expectedThe hair dye covered my grey hairs well and evenly so coverage is good. However, I am very cool toned and ordered ‘Ash’ brown. I was expecting a shade of brown that was ashy (bear in mind my own hair tone has no warmth at all so didn’t warm up the colour in any way).
