I bought this because I was told it does NOT have bad chemicalsI'm so bummed. I am breaking out like crazy. I looked for a product that would not have the PPD additives or any harsh chemicals. Madison Reed promised that I would love this product and I've done nothing but scratch my head, my neckline and its even effecting my eyes, ears, forehead--basically everywhere. The presentation of product is nice, I like the color, although I wanted dark ash brown--the blue black is tooooooooooooooo dark. I didn't even put all of the color on. Once you go black, black you cant do anything else. The color was too much and I'm breaking out like crazy. So Madison Reed lied. Not the color I wanted and expectedThe online experience was fine (up to a point, see below). The product was beautifully packaged. My hair felt good afterward - texture, coverage was good. But the color itself wasn't the rich, vibrant red I had wanted and expected. I think if I could have talked live with a colorist it would have been better. Couldn't be prettier!I did not expect my hair to look as great as it does! I'm a newbie at this so my Hubby did it for me. He was shaking the whole time, so I had no clue how it would come out.
