I really wanted to like itI’ve seen this is on social media for a long time and was very excited to try it. It fell far short if my expectations. I customized an icy darker auburn. I chose gray coverage. It didn’t cover my grays at my roots. But, the dye did change my root color. The rest of it? NOPE. So, my roots are a nice color, except grays are still visible, and my “ends”, which include all hair but the two inches around my crown, didn’t change one bit. Gentler than drugstore brands and affordable!I've been using Esalon color for almost 6 years now. It's gentler than drugstore box color and so much more reasonable than paying $85-$100 every 4 weeks to go to a salon. But best of all (and this just happened to me again recently) I was talking to a colleague about this and she said, " I didn't know you colored your hair. I thought that was your natural color." For me, that's the mark of good color. I want my hair to look like my hair, not that kind of thing where you look at someone and the FIRST thing you notice is that their hair has been colored (and it's not very good). And while some people may want a dramatic look, I just want my hair to look like ME and look good. Ordered six months ago just got brave to use it !!Should have tried it when I ordered it. It’s great and honestly do give it ago. I used to go to the salon every eight weeks. Got fed up when the hairstylist tried to do three others as well as me. Now no hastle it’s just me and my hair. Great match. You won’t be disappointed. OverwhelmedI have used this product twice before, loved it! But this last time the ammonia smell was so bad i was having a hard time breathing, i could not keep my eyes open they were burning so bad. I started to feel my head burning and i had to have my fiance come and help me get the color rinsed out of my hair.
