Cool DIY ToolThis was my first time using Esalon. I found it on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. My custom Color was Darkest brown with ash. I gave it 4 stars because I still can see room for improvement. But for my first time use, it was so feasible. The neatness and clarity of the products and instructions were 5 stars. They had everything that I needed. Even the things I didn’t think of. I really liked that. I think my base color was too dark for me. It didn’t allow me to differentiate between a regular box dye. The dimension and ashiness that I wanted wasn’t there. It was just a single session base color. I did see a slight dark brown color but not enough that I would recommend spending $20/$25 in comparison to $3 box dye. So the color for me didn’t really excel a regular in-store box dye enough to really recommend it for just a base color. When I used the light kit, it just brought everything together. The light kit did give my hair that red/warm tone that I didn’t want. I really wanted an ashy tone but it didn’t happen. Not that it looks bad, it’s just not what I was going for. So I think adding a cooler toner in the light kit can help with that. My hair does look nice, it’s just different from my original intention. 0 von 0 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. Too lightColour quality is good and it does look like salon color but it was too light for my hair amd did not suit my skin color.ive got dark cherry red hair and it was light brown and now my hair looks very light and i personaly dont like the color and dont feel like it suits my skn color either. 0 von 0 Personen fanden diese Rezension hilfreich. This isThis is the second time that I have used this product. I ordered dark brown both times and my color turned out very light not dark brown at all.They sent me it the second time at no charge and it still is very light not dark brown at all.So very disappointed in this product .I would not recommend it to anyone. UnsatisfactoryDid not like this hair dye system at all. Stained my bathtub like crazy, did not change my hair colour whatsoever even though I followed the steps to a tee, and the leave in conditioner I purchased separately is terrible as well, Pantene spilt end remedy does the best job and for a fraction of the price. Better off purchasing a store bought hair dye cause it's cheaper, works way better and will not stain your bathtub. Made a lot of mess and mistakesI hesitated to do my hair cause esalon sent me another bottle to do the whole hair. I wished I’d talk to someone before doing this... My hair color got darker... When I applied the first bottle, my hair got really rough like I couldn’t brush off my hair. This led me to make mistake when I applied the second bottle. I usually use brush to apply color to my roots. But I went on with the recommendation from the video by the using the bottle for my second step and it was a huge mistake. My restroom... got stains all over the place. Also permanently too. I spent so much time cleaning and where do I start for the hair... My top part of my hair is lighter and darker in the bottom. I missed couple of gray hair which I never do after covering my gray hair for 5yrs. I was so stressed out about the fact I had to color the whole hair, I literally made mistakes. The good part about the color is that I don’t look too red.. I had a bad experience changing my hair...
