Not the bestI had really high hopes, I've been having a few issues with box dye covering my greys, when creating my custom colour I stated I'd like improved grey coverage and to even and reduced brassy tones. I've had my colour tweeks for the second dye however it's actually worse the second time around and has actually lightened my roots to a mid brown whereas I'm dark brown. I find dying my hair a chore but I've had to do it twice this weekend to try and even it out (second time with a box dye).. I've cancelled my subscription as I feel I could waste alot of money tweeking my colour and never achieve a result as good as a standard box dye. hair was heavyVery upset with the color not enough copper in it so it wasn’t very red. the feel of the color was impossible to wash out of my hair it took me 3 days for my hair to feel normal. DisappointedFor dark blonde saw no resemblance of blonde. Had to buy a color removing kit to remove the color. I used to use this then began with a salon and never could get a consistent color from time to time so thought I'd try with Esalon again. Totally disappointed and frustrated. O M Extra G....at last a colour that covers grey hair!I ordered a medium brown, roots only colour as I have highlights and I wanted to cover the dreaded grey! Well, I wasn’t disappointed. My magician with colour is Freddy! He has helped me enormously, even tweaking my colour to make it a shade between medium and light brown to make the colour perfect. I’m really happy with my result. The colour doesn’t drip and ruin my highlights, it stays where I put it. Amazing! You must follow the instructions for washing out the colour. It needs to be massaged out for 2-3 minutes which is quite a while, but Freddy even gave me a tip for that! Love My First Experience of ESalonMany thanks to Paul my colorist for making up the color just as I asked. I loved it and the whole process from ordering to trying out the color was made so easy. I found the website easy to use and the How-to guides are great. I didn't have to wait long for the lovely little box of goodies to arrive and I was very pleased with the results.
