Custom Color SetThe color covered all the gray. It was a little darker than I would have preferred, overall I am happy with the results. There was a little more ammonia smell than I like. Good coverageIm not happy with my color still and it's been an adjustment trying to get the color I requested. My color is darker than what my original color was, which I don't like!. However, esalon was willing to send me two free shipments of color to accommodate the color change...even though the color is still wrong! Way darker. I do appreciate that at least. I also like that esalon color does cover my grey hair longer and better than store bought brand lorel I used before esalon. I will continue to try esalon for that main reason and hopefully they can get the color correct. I do feel since the 100% satisfaction guarantee is stated, I had hoped they would honor that and they don't!. Vibrant and rich colour, love it!Initially I thought the colour was too 'bright & too red' but I was wrong! My hair looks healthy and shiny, it doesn't feel dry as it has in the past when using other colour products.
