Wonderful Concept!Premature grey hair runs in my family, so consequently I have been coloring my hair for decades. Early on I was using store bought products, but could never get the right results, so I graduated to salon color. Even then I was not getting complete grey coverage and it always faded to an unappealing brassy shade. Finally, about a year and a half ago, I stumbled onto the eSalon website and decided to give it a try. I'm blown away by how well the concept works. I completed my profile and received my first order. I have really long hair which makes it difficult to do myself, so my husband is my colorist. Even he was impressed with how well it came out. The color was exactly what I was looking for, the grey coverage is great and best of all, there is very little fade over time. Can't say enough good things about eSalon! Anti-Frizz Hair SerumAnti-Frizz Hair Serum was really thick and made my hair horribly greasy. I have however tried hard to use just small amounts and it is better. Confused to receive the incorrect color againI was really disappointed with my most recent color set. I have ordered three different times so far: the first time, the color was not exactly what I was looking for (but the directions were easy to follow, the product was of good quality, and I was happy with the results for the most part), so I left notes for the next shipment; the second color set I received was perfect! I could tell that the colorists read and considered my notes, and sent me exactly what I was looking for - I was stoked! For some reason, this third set I received was a similar color to the first again...and the directions advised me to color ONLY my roots, then pull color through the rest of my hair at the very end. I was glad that I decided to pull color through a bit sooner than that, because when I was finished washing and drying my hair, my roots were definitely a different color than the rest of my hair (and not even the color I was hoping for). :( I was really thrilled with my results from the second order I placed, and want to continue with that exact formula every time.
