Love it!!I had customized a color and was super excited. Then later on, I had major doubts. I received my order super fast and after pondering over it for a couple days, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did!! I love the color, super easy to do, and in the notes,(with adding a recent photo) I explained that I'm not sure how my custom color would turn out but I didn't want a drastic change. Love! Love! Love!For YEARS (20?) I went to high end salons for color treatments. All the same - stylist evaluates current hair color, plays chemistry in back room, applies new color, I'm out at least $125. So, I thought, why not try ESalon? I always watched the stylist apply my hair color and thought to myself "Why can't I do that too?" What have I got to lose? I completed the questionnaire on my hair and sent them a head shot picture. In a couple of days, a lovely box arrived! It looks like a present! Easy instructions made especially for MOI! Everything I need to apply hair color comes with this kit: 2 Pair of gloves, small color safe shampoo and conditioner, AND something I can't remember ANY stylist doing - applying a stain guard before color! I used to hate it when color got on my face or unwanted areas and they try to wipe it off! Well this kit comes with a STAIN GUARD and STAIN REMOVER so I'm not having to rub so hard to get a stain off. I got in touch with a color specialist a few times to change up my color a bit and they listen and give new instructions when applying new color! I purchased some hair clips, timer and mixing bowl. I could use any plastic bowl, but this one is like the ones used by stylists and its easy to clean. I keep all my color accessories in a zip lock baggie in my bathroom. What's interesting is that since I've started using esalon - I get compliments on my hair color! Really! I never used to get compliments when I paid through the roof. Not For Me But I Still Think It’s Worth TryingThe customer service is truly fantastic. I really wanted to love my color results but I didn’t. I don’t fault the company—I have brown hair with full highlights and just wanted to go back to my natural brown. At the salon, it’s a long process to fill in highlights and can take a few color applications. That being said, the color that was made for me was very nice but didn’t do what I wanted. The lighter highlights ended up red (and that is a color I avoid like the plague). I called customer service and they were really wonderful. They were knowledgeable, very nice, and helpful. I also did love the packaging and my color arrived quickly after placing the order. Not the color I wanted at allI just colored my hair using my custom color and it really didn't turn out how I wanted it at all. I wanted a copper ginger and it's a brownish auburn color.
