Color not as expectedI chose the "medium pearl golden" which, on my computer screen, appeared to be a medium blonde with a cool, slightly pink tone to it. The result was more of a dark, coppery blonde, kind of an auburn. It's not bad but it's not what I was expecting. Color is lovely and my hair is healthy & shinyI was skeptical; I have a good bit of gray now and I had tried boxed colors and they did not cover it properly. I was also tired of paying a high price for monthly root color application at a salon but wanted good color and good results. I decided why not at least give eSalon color a try? SO happy I did. The color is rich and coverage is great. The process is clearly spelled out and a simple thing like including two pairs of disposable gloves makes it that much easier. I had been going to a local higher-end salon due to their renown brand of color but my hair was getting very dry and the color was somewhat dull - eSalon's color is rich, there is minute multi-tones of the color which makes it look vibrant. How much better can you get...I think it is awesome to be able to have your ideal shade of hair dye made. It sure beats standing in the hair isle at your local store going back and forth, back and forth, and a few more back and forth. You get my drift. You can consult with a colorist, can even send the colorist pics of your hair. Auto delivery, with the ability to skip a delivery or pick the date your next color gets sent out is great too AND...You can change your color anytime you want. New to esalonHeard about esalon from a friend and decided to give it a go! The process was easy and I got a response from a stylist pretty quick explaining the color I chose was a few shades darker than my current color and suggested that I try a color that was only one shade darker just in case I wanted to go lighter. I took the advice and am glad I did, not because I don't like dark hair but because I ended up loving the color they sent!
