Treat Yourself to the BestI've been coloring my hair for years using store bought color kits. I think I've tried every brand out there but I never have had the experience that I had with eSalon. With only one slight change I got the perfect color and it left my hair in better condition than it was before. I would highly recommend this to anyone who dyes their hair. Color is near perfectI am very pleased with the results of my Custom Color from eSalon. It's near perfect for me. Most of my gray is white, (not really gray) around the face (front and sideburn area). Coloring for the first time on my own I was nervous, but found the instructions easy to follow and the results were very pleasing. Like this and wish it was more long-lastingI love the ease of obtaining my order and the way it initially looks. No better than box color and hard to get out of hairI'm no stranger to box color, and I was hoping this would be sort of a compromise between box color and salon color, but it was very much just your typical box color in a fancy box (and more than twice the price). The color came in a nice package with my name on the instructions saying it was specially formulated for me. But honestly, I couldn't help but feel like I paid $20 for box color with my name on it. There was nothing special about the process of application or the color itself. And it took FOREVER to wash out of my hair. I mean at least 20 minutes. I finally got it all out and washed/dryed my hair and I still feel like there's some in there! I like the idea of eSalon, and I reallllllly wanted to like this, but it's not worth the price. Unless you're brand new to box color and have no clue what color to get-- just go to the drugstore and pick it out yourself.
