Going to keep orderingUPDATE: Very happy with eSalon. The initial results were not great. I followed the instructions, but I suspect the first method of application affected the color. I was upset because now my virgin hair wasn't a clean slate anymore. I thought fixing it would cost me the results I wanted and more money. Not so! ESalon customer service offered credit to try one more time. I recommend the bowl and brush method and using all the dye, even if you have thin fine hair like me. Permanent colourUsed the permanent colour this time and unlike the demi permanent colour there is an odour. Having long hair I do find it hard to follow the recommended steps to colour so I just do it my own way. On Wasing out my hair felt like it was covered in tar and I was quite worried but once I added the shampoo and conditioner provided everything was ok. DisappointingI used this company twice and for some reason I never got the colour that I wanted (violet). The first time I ended up with a reddish tinge to my hair and the second time, after speaking with the colorist and getting the formula 'adjusted' I ended up with a very dark brown. I saw other reviews with the same complaint and I wonder if this dye does not work as well with some types of hair or with previously coloured hair... I did like the shampoo and conditioner however, especially the conditioner as it made the hair very silky.
