Color great but the last 2x times hair was extremely gummy! WHAT HAPPENED??Took multiple washings after coloring to get the gumminess out of my hair! Color is good. I have used esalons several other times but the last 2X (May & Sept) the gumminess has been terrible! This feeling is most likely caused by residual color still coating your hair and/or scalp.To avoid this from happening in the future, we recommend massaging the color at your scalp prior to rinsing. Great hair colorI was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use the eSalon hair color. They mixed a slightly darker color for my roots to cover some gray hairs & advised me to leave it on longer. Then I had a slightly lighter color to use on the ends. The instructions were easy to follow & the end result looks great! It came with shampoo & conditioner that made my hair silky smooth. Life Saver!I've dyed my hair once in 42 years, so when my grey hair started showing up I was clueless how to go about fixing the issue. Box hair dye was not appealing and salon colors are usually a bit off and pricy. I tried esalon and will never change my routine. They adjusted my color from my vague description and it is perfect. Brilliant!The color came out beautifully and is as expected. I had someone else do it for me, but it was easy for them to apply and there was more than enough in the bottle for my hair length (approx 6" below shoulder).
