Good product hard to get the right colorI do like this hair color. It is very easy to use and everything you need comes with it. It stays beautiful between coloring and I have really nice highlights. My hair stays in great condition. And it is WAY less expensive than having it done. The problem is we've never been able to get the color exactly how I want it. The original was to brassy. The change was really muddy. The next change had an ash tone. Since I have to live with that ugliness until next coloring, I went back to the original. I don't hate it (and I did hate the other two attempts) but I certainly don't love it either. This is my first attempt at permanent color. I'd always used a wash out rinse. Color is not lasting as long as it shouldMy hair color only lasted three and a half weeks. It used to last longer. Im thinking that maybe I got a bad mix this time . I know they make each one up individually but maybe mine got some bad stuff in it. Or not enough of something that it needed to make it last. Same results as beforeI specifically asked for a lighter, brighter shade of red. I got a copper, almost burgundy. What I was doing before was cheaper and got the same results. Plus, trying to do roots only first on very short hair is almost impossible. SO incredibly disappointed.I wanted to be enthusiastic about this product. Even mentioned it to strangers and to my social media followers. Unfortunately, this dye was not what I expected. I followed the directions exactly. I made sure I had everything perfect just so I could write this amazing review about how this dye would keep me out of the salon. The dye was off the begin with. The texture was odd, the smell was so overwhelming it made my eyes water. Upon time to wash out. I watched every bit of color go down the drain. What I was left with was the color I had wished for, if it had been washed out with dish soap for 6 weeks. It was weak to say the least, and uneven, though I followed the root to tip instructions. Where it gets worse. I took an unmixed portion to my stylist, who is also an instructor. I had expressed prior I would be doing this with her approval because she knows I like to play with my own color. She did a strand test and was in agreement. The dye to her was of poor quality. I could have achieve more with drugstore dye. I am not sure if this company is going through trial and error, or if they're attempting to fool the uneducated. Not even close to what I wantedYou do the survey and answer their questions. You choose your original color, your dyed color, and what you would like. Then someone that doesn't know you decides that the color YOU chose for YOU isn't right, and then they send you what they think you should have. And like a dummy I used it just to find that it is entirely too dark for me and now I am a fair skinned, blue eyed person with dark brown(almost black) hair.
